RE: TERMINATION OF PURCHASE ORDERS FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY ITEMS
EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 8, 1976.
WHEREAS, the work load of the County Finance Office is
extremely heavy at the end of the month and the year, and
WHEREAS, the 1976 budget balance is sufficient to cover
the December payroll, utility bills and emergency purchases
only, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to economize to the greatest
extent possible so as to have available sufficient 1976 funds
to fund the 1977 County budget, and
WHEREAS, to lighten the work load, it is the desire of the
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, to receive no
purchase orders for capital outlay items after December 8, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that no purchase orders for
the purchase of capital outlay items for the year 1976 shall be
processed after December 8, 1976 without specific, public
approval by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th
day of December, A.D. , 1976 .
