HomeMy WebLinkAbout790722.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF CONSERVATION TRUST FUND EXPENDITURES FOR THE TOWN OF NUNN, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, following the submission of an application by the Town of Nunn for assistance in the project known as park improvement, in the Town of Nunn, Weld County has extended to the Town of Nunn a grant from Conservation Trust Funds in the amount of $600.00, and WHEREAS, after requesting bids for the project, the Town of Nunn has informed the Board of County Commissioners that it has only received one bid in the amount of $597.00 from Fort Collins Nursery, and WHEREAS, the terms agreed upon are as follows: A) following completion of the project, the Town of Nunn must report to Weld County its acceptance of the project from its contractor, B) such report shall include an accounting of actual expenses for the project and a request for reimbursement of a specific dollar amount, C) upon receipt of this report and request for reimbursement, the County shall determine the amount of reimbursement and will make a single payment to the Town of Nunn, and WHEREAS, it has been further agreed that Weld County shall reimburse the Town of Nunn during the Calendar Year of 1979. It is therefore understood and agreed that the project shall be completed and the request for reimbursement forwarded no later than December 1, 1979, and WHEREAS, upon consideration of the aforementioned request from the Town of Nunn, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve the same in an amount not to exceed $600.00 to improve the park through said Conservation Trust Fund. NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners that said Board does hereby approve the Conservation Trust Fund expenditures to the Town of Nunn, Weld County, Colorado as more fully set forth above. The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made, seconded and adopted by the following vote on the 16th Day of July, A.D. , 1979. As required, the Town contacted three nurseries, asking for bids on trees for the park. Only one bid was received, but it is within the budgeted amount.
