RE : DISSOLVE PETTY CASH FUND AT WELD COUNTY PARAMEDIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County , Colorado , and
WHEREAS , on August 14 , 2000 , the Board granted the request to increase the Petty Cash
Fund for the Weld County Paramedic Service from $ 125 . 00 up to $275 . 00 , and
WHEREAS, effective May 7 , 2012 , the Board deemed it advisable to transfer oversight of the
Weld County Paramedic Service to Banner Health , dba North Colorado Medical Center, and
WHEREAS, the Controller has recommended the Petty Cash Fund for the Weld County
Paramedic Service be dissolved and transferred back to the general Paramedic Service Fund , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado , that the Controller, be , and hereby is, authorized to dissolve the Petty Cash Fund
for the Weld County Paramedic Service, in the amount of $275 . 00 and transfer the funds back into
the general Paramedic Service Fund .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made and seconded , adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of August, A. D . , 2012 .
