RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZE APPLICATION FOR 1978-1979 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEMT
GRANT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, aid
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Department of
Planning Services that Weld County apply for a single purpose
grant for Evanston, Wattenberg, Espanola Subdivision and the Mid-
West Childrens Home, totaling $300,000. 00 , and
WHEREAS, after considering the recommendations of the Weld
County Department of Planning Services, the Board of County Com-
missioners has deemed it in the best interest of Weld County to
authorize application for the 1978-1979 Community Development
Grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that preapplication for the
1978-1979 Community Development Grant for Evanston, Wattenberg,
Espanola Subdivision and the Midwest Childrens Home, totaling
$300, 000 . O0 be, and hereby is, authorized.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
May, A.D. , 1978.
