RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF TOM PARKO AS DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF PLANNING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #2009-2873, dated October 28, 2009, the Board of Weld
County Commissioners appointed Trevor Jiricek as the Director of the Department of Planning
Services, and
WHEREAS, as a result of a reassignment of Mr. Jiricek's duties, the Board now desires
to appoint Tom Parko as the Director of the Department of Planning Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Tom Parko be, and hereby is, appointed as the Director of the
Department of Planning Services.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of October, A.D., 2012.
