Scott Warren Farms, Inc. 6151 Brighton Blvd. Brighton, Colorado 80601 Re: Warren Turkey Farms Additions Dear Mr. Scott: I have reviewed plans submitted and attached letter regarding Warren Farms, M nc. 's desire to modify facilities on three separate turkey farms.- These changes to facilities were discussed with yourself, Norbert and H.H. Goldman, Russell Barber and myself on a previous date. As was discussed at that above mentioned meeting and as per your letter of May 6, 1976, there will be no increase in the number of birds as a result of planned modifications at the three named farms . The plans reviewed at this time are for the A-One Turkey Farm located in the Ez of Sec. 22, T2N, R66W. Please note on the returned set of plans (plot plan only) that an approval is given. The approval is only given for location and zoning . Structural Code approval has to be given prior to construction. You will need to apply for building permits with our office's Building Inspection Department. Before approval is given for the remaining two locations (Warren located at Sec. 35, T1N, R66W and Goldman and Barber located at Sec. 11 , T1N, R66W) I would request plot plans and specific letters on each facility similar to the herewith submitted material . Hopefully this has answered any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact our office regarding any questions that may arise. Ve , ruly .v J Thomas E. Honn . Namely Warren Turkey Farm, A - One Turkey Farm and Goldman and Barber Turkey Farm. If you will recall, in our discussion with you, we stated that we are not increasing numbers, but we are interested in increasing the confinement buildings space, to enable us to grow turkeys in the early and late seasons, without the threat of storm loss during bad weather. We are making these changes because the industry is demanding that we have turkeys available for processing on more and more of a year around basis. The additions that we are contemplating willtn of the same pole type construction, as the original buildings. The original confinement buildings were 40 x 160 feet, and we are planning on an addition of 130 feet, thus when completed would be 40 x 290 feet. Again, I would like to restate the fact that we are not increasing numbers, but rather increasing floor space, for early and late season turkey production. sup ---- The A — One Turkey Farm is located approximately 2 miles north of i7 3 Fort Lupton and 3 miles east. The legal discription is the east a of Sec. 22, Twsp. 2N Range 66W. WL _ The Warren Turkey Farm is located approximately 5 miles east of Brighton on the north side of Weld County road # 2.
