Dear Sir:
The Public Relations Committee of the Weld County Charter Commission is interested
in having the news media throughout the county aware of our progress as we study
and write a Charter for County Home Rule.
There is a General Meeting held each Thursday night at 7 :30 at the County Commissioners'
board room in the Public Health Building in Greeley. However, there will not be
meetings December 26, 1974, or January 2, 1975; but, we will have a meeting January
4, 1975, at 10 A.M. All committee meetings are also open to the public and notice
of these meetings are posted 12 hours in advance on the bulletin board in the
Commissioners' board room or you can call 353-2212, extension 237, for information.
We are in the process of compiling a list of people to receive the minutes of the
' general meeting each week. If you are interested in being included on our mailing
list, please notify the Charter Commission secretary, Mrs. Pat Moore.
The Public Relations Committee welcomes any suggestions or request for information
or speakers.
