Dear Mr. Dunbar:
We are in receipt of your letter dated January 6, 1978 to the State Highway
Commission. You have expressed concern that Weld County, as a nonmember of
Colorado Counties, Inc. , may experience difficulty participating in the 219
funding. The Department of Highways has advised the Special Highway Commit-
tee of its responsibilities and I wish to assure you that projects will be
reviewed and funded in an equitable manner.
By now you should have received the enclosed application material. In the
event you haven't, we will accept this material if submitted by February 10.
This represents an extension of the filing deadline imposed for other counties
in the state.
