RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO WELD FAITH PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County,Colorado,and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the Weld Faith Partnership Council,and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Wilmerd Velez be appointed to said board to
replace Laura Klock,and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Wilmerd Velez to said board,with a
term to expire November 1,2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Wilmerd Velez be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld Faith
Partnership Council,with a term to expire November 1,2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of May,A.D.,2012.
