Subject: Transmission line southwest of Kersey
Hi Steve,
We talked on the phone about a letter we received stating Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association,
Inc. would be constructing a new line in our area. Apparently there are 3 possible routes they are considering.
We live on the corner of 49 and 50 and we would not like big poles irrected infront of our home. We would end
up having them on both sides of our property and I would think they would be somewhat of an eye-sore and
would not help with the resale value of our property. Right now we have a beautiful view of the Rocky
Mountains and we'd hate to have that disrupted. Please pass this e-mail on to others in the review committee.

Subject: New Power line
Steve,
After visiting with you last week I would like to see the New Power Line route follow CR 51
south to the Compressor station. I have a beautiful view of the mountains right now and I would
hate to see it impaired with a new sub-station just west of my house. I'm not sure what the
footprint looks like,but I'm assuming it will be well lit which furthers my concern with the
location across from my house.
Please take into consideration my concerns when you present your proposal to the County.
