RE: AUTHORIZE EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE COVERING CERTAIN
PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO - N1/2, S24, T5N, R61W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is the owner of vast mineral lands located in Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Carrizo Oil and Gas, Inc., submitted a request to extend the lease of 320.0
net mineral acres, more or less, described to-wit:
N1/2 of Section 24, Township 5 North, Range 61
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County desires to approve the request submitted by Carrizo Oil and
Gas, Inc., to extend the lease on the above-described mineral acreage for $23.00 per net
mineral acre, for a total sum of$7,360.00, together with a rental fee of one dollar ($1.00) per net
mineral acre, which is to run for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve o'clock noon
on March 11, 2012, and ending at twelve o'clock noon on September 11, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request submitted by Carrizo Oil and Gas, Inc., to extend the
lease on the above-described mineral acreage for $23.00 per net mineral acre, for a total sum of
$7,360.00, together with a rental fee of one dollar ($1.00) per net mineral acres, which is to run
for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve o'clock noon on March 11, 2012, and
ending at twelve o'clock noon on September 11, 2012, be, and hereby is, granted and
approved.
