RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR12-0007, FOR A KENNEL (UP TO 40 DOGS) AND ANY USE PERMITTED AS A
USE BY RIGHT, ACCESSORY USE, OR USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW IN THE
COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL ZONE DISTRICTS, PROVIDED THAT THE
PROPERTY IS NOT A LOT IN AN APPROVED OR RECORDED SUBDIVISION PLAT
OR PART OF A MAP OR PLAN FILED PRIOR TO ADOPTION OF ANY
REGULATIONS CONTROLLING SUBDIVISIONS (STORAGE OF STONE AND
MASONRY MATERIALS AND STONE AND MASONRY INSTALLATION
EQUIPMENT) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT - RICHARD AND BETTY
ROOS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 11th day
of July, 2012, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Richard and Betty Roos, 3525 Colorado Boulevard, Dacono, Colorado 80514,
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0007, for a
Kennel (up to 40 dogs) and any Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by
Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts, provided that the property is not a
lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of
any regulations controlling subdivisions (storage of stone and masonry materials and stone and
masonry installation equipment) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described
real estate, to-wit:
South 330 feet of the N1/2 of Section 13, Township
1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter until
August 1, 2012, to allow additional time to complete the necessary newspaper publication
requirement, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to August 1, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
August 1, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.
