COLORADO
The Emergency Shelter Grant funds from the Department of Local Affairs,Division of Housing is being changed
significantly and renamed Emergency Solutions Grant with an emphasis on Homeless Prevention and not Shelter
Operations. To help with the transition to the new program DOH is providing funding for Shelter Operations for one year
to only the grantees who received this funding in 2011-2012. As part of their application these three non-profits need to be
approved by the Local Government. Note: Each Shelter is applying directly to DOH.
The applications must be postmarked by July 9°. Please sign as soon as possible.Thank you.
