RESOLUTION
RE: ADOPTION OF POLICY REGARDING THE PAYMENT OF TRAVEL AND
LODGING EXPENSES FOR JOB INTERVIEWEES FOR WELD COUNTY,
COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desires to declare and implement a policy regarding the
payment of travel and lodging expenses for job interviewees, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said policy read as
follows:
"Travel and lodging expenses may be paid for people
identified for job interview for those positions
listed below. Travel must be from outside a 60 mile
radius of Greeley, Colorado. Receipts must accompay
the request for payment. Request for payment will be
made after completion of the Round Trip. The Personnel
Department will furnish the required forms to the
interviewee prior to his departure from Greeley. Only
allowable expenses are Transportation Tickets, mileage
within a 200 mile radius of Greeley at the rate of . 14
cents per mile and Lodging expenses not to exceed two
nights. Prior approval of the Personnel Director is
required. Positions authorized for payment are as
follows:
Nursing Administrator
Director of Medical Aministration
County Attorney
Assistant County Attorney (only Assistant County Attorney
acting as Department head when County Attorney is
absent)
Director of Planning and Zoning
Director of Finance and Administration
Director of Personnel
Director of Computer Services
Comptroller
Director of Communications
Under Sheriff
Captain of Corrections
Director of Ambulance Services
Director of Library
County Engineer
Civil Engineer
Road & Bridge Supervisor
Director of Human Resources
Comptroller, Human Resources
Chief Building Inspector"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above and foregoing

policy in regard to payment of travel and lodging expenses for
job interviewees, be and hereby is, adopted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
June, A.D. , 1978.
