RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jesse Mortensen be reappointed to said board
as large business representative, that Julia Zanon be reappointed as rehabilitation services
representative, that Laura Gavito be reappointed as small business representative, that Robert
Endyk be appointed, to replace Lucille Mantelli, as large business representative, and that Lisa
Prater be appointed, to replace Jeff Goody, as large business representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Jesse Mortensen, Julia Zanon and
Laura Gavito to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2014, and to appoint Robert Endyk
and Lisa Prater, with terms to expire December 31, 2013 and December 31, 2014, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jesse Mortensen, Julia Zanon and Laura Gavito be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Workforce Development Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2014, and
that Robert Endyk and Lisa Prater be, and hereby are, appointed to said Board,with terms to expire
December 31, 2013 and December 31, 2014, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 30th day of January A.D., 2012.
