RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING RECORDED EXEMPTION #4972 — BRAD AND
ROBIN GUTKNECHT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2009, the Department of Planning Services administratively
approved the request of Brad and Robin Gutknecht, 11105 west Center Avenue, Lakewood,
Colorado 80226, Recorded Exemption #4972, to divide the property into parcels estimated to be
approximately 152 acres, 2.6 acres, 2.6 acres, and 2.6 acres, for property which is located on the
following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot C of Recorded Exemption#2773, being a part of
the NE1/4 of Section 9, Township 1 North, Range 65
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services staff notified the applicant, by certified
letters dated April 4, and May 5, 2011, that certain outstanding Conditions of Approval had not been
completed and that the matter would be scheduled for a hearing before the Board of Weld County
Commissioners unless written documentation was received requesting a withdrawal of the case, or
the outstanding items were completed and the mylar plat recorded, and
WHEREAS, after reviewing Department of Planning Service's concerns and hearing the
testimony presented, the Board determined that said request shall be continued from June 13,2011,
until July 18, 2011, and then from July 18, 2011, until February 6, 2012, to allow the applicant
additional time to complete the remaining Conditions of Approval and record the mylar plat.
WHEREAS, after reviewing the matter and hearing the testimony presented on February 6,
2012, the Board determines that the matter shall be continued to March 12, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., to
allow the applicant additional time to complete the remaining Conditions of Approval and record the
mylar plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request for Recorded Exemption#4972, submitted by Brad and Robin
Gutknecht, be, and hereby is, referred continued to March 12, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., to allow the
applicant additional time to complete the remaining Conditions of Approval and record the mylar
plat.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 6th day of February, A.D., 2012.
