RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF TOBY TAYLOR AS VETERANS SERVICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Sections 28-5-801 through 805, C.R.S., enumerate the obligations, terms, and
qualifications of County Veterans Service Officers, and
WHEREAS, Pasquale (Pat) Persichino served the Weld County citizens as the Veterans
Service Officer from 1987, to July 12, 2012, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Toby Taylor to said position,to replace
Pasquale (Pat) Persichino, with a term to begin July 19, 2012, and end June 30, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Toby Taylor be, and hereby is, appointed the Weld County Veterans Service
Officer, with a term to expire June 30, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 23rd day of July, A.D., 2012, nunc pro tunc July 19, 2012.
