From: Mike Charley [mailto:mcharley(alorconstruction.com] Sent: Sunday, September 02, 2012 1:00 PM To: Jennifer Fuller Subject: 9825 Shoreline Dr. Longmont Hello. I am a homeowner at 9825 Shoreline Dr in Lighthouse Cove on CR7. I built a very expensive home here. Recently, Encana began drilling quite close to my home and more recently, they built a stack that burns off excess gasses. The noise and convulsions are intermittent all day but at times, the earthquake like shaking of my home and the ground is frightful. It literally shakes my home and rattles the windows, which concerns me on many levels. Not only a horrible inconvenience, but from a safety standpoint, it is scary and I fear repeated shaking will result in severe house damage [gas pipes??]. Generally, the loudest rumbling occurs from 3 am to 5 am nightly, so you can understand that if this were permanent, the situation will be untenable. There is a correlation in the flame burn and the rumbling, being the point when combustion occurs. Some flames quite large and correspondingly, they are the loudest and most physical. Of, course, I do not know how these particular sites are selected, what they are called [storage? they are not drilling anymore but burning off collective gas] What ordinances regulate what they can or can't do? I have spent a good deal of the day running in circles trying to ascertain information on the internet. Can you please direct me or advise how I figure out exactly what I am dealing with? Whom do I contact and what can I do? I would really appreciate your help. Ps. I assumed we are District 3 and I also sent this to Barbara. I had some difficulty with deciphering our zoning from the web and I am just beginning this process. Any help, [a call would be great] would really be welcomed.
