4 „ s WHERFAS, it is known that in 2011, every 50 hours, an American Law Enforcement officer ° e ,
, , ` .: died in the line of duty somewhere in this great country, and during this last year, 173 brave
r ;'<^: men and women have lost their lives in the performance of their duties. Our community joins

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners calls upon all citizens in Weld County to especially

' honor and show our sincere appreciation for the Peace Officers of this county by deed,
,, remark, and attitude. We call upon all citizens to make every effort to express their thanks to
our officers who make it possible for all of us to leave our homes and family in safety each and ' .. `t

` willing to sacrifice their lives, if necessary, to guard our loved ones, government, and way of
life, against all those who would violate the law and seek to destroy our way of life. E
NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved that the Board of Weld County Commissioners does
