A public hearing was conducted on August 29, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

The following business was transacted:
IR I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated July 20, 2012, and duly published July 25,
2012, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of
Northeast Grains, LLC, and Forrest and Judy Tappy, for a Site Specific Development Plan and
Amended Use By Special Review Permit, USR12-0031 (formerly USR-632), for an Agricultural
Service Establishment primarily engaged in performing agricultural, animal husbandry or
horticultural services on a fee or contract basis, including: grain and/or feed elevators, grain and
feed sales, commercial grain storage and drying, seed production, processing, storage, mixing,
blending and sales and retail and wholesale of products and similar goods associated with the
agri-business and agricultural uses and a variance to the setbacks requirement from a public
right-of-way in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Brad Yatabe, Assistant County Attorney, made
this a matter of record.
El Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, requested this matter be continued to
September 26, 2012, due to a schedule conflict for the applicant and to allow for review by a full
quorum of the Board.

No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
El Commissioner Long moved to continue the request of Northeast Grains, LLC, and Forrest
and Judy Tappy, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Use By Special Review
Permit, USR12-0031 (formerly USR-632), for an Agricultural Service Establishment primarily
engaged in performing agricultural, animal husbandry or horticultural services on a fee or
contract basis, including: grain and/or feed elevators, grain and feed sales, commercial grain
storage and drying, seed production, processing, storage, mixing, blending and sales and retail
and wholesale of products and similar goods associated with the agri-business and agricultural
uses and a variance to the setbacks requirement from a public right-of-way in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District, to September 26, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Rademacher, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,
the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 5th day of September, 2012.
