RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Eric Berglund be appointed as the Economic
Development-Community Based Organization representative to replace Larry Burkhardt, with a
term to expire December 31, 2013; that Jill Eaton be appointed as the Rehabilitation Services
representative to replace Julia Zanon, with a term to expire December 31, 2014; and that Terri
Way be appointed as a large business representative to replace Patty Jones; and that Linda
Cannon be appointed as a government (city) representative, both with terms to expire
December 31, 2015, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dennis Trego and Dana Rutz be
reappointed as small business representatives; that Brenda Rask be reappointed as a
secondary education representative; and, that Rochelle Mitchell-Miller be reappointed as a
literacy representative to the Workforce Development Board, all with terms to expire on
December 31, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to these positions as representatives on the Workforce Development Board, with
their respective terms to expire as described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of December, A.D., 2012.
