Dear Mr. Billings:
The League of Women Voters wishes to promote informed and active
participation by citizens in governmental agencies and interest
in private public service organizations. One of the ways in which
we do this is to act as observers at meetings of such groups.
These League members will attend your meetings as observers only.
They will not speak or give opinions on any official proceedings.
We want you to know that citizens are interested in the proceedings
of your agency, and that our observer will share with our League
members any pertinent action and discussion of importance to our
members and to the community.
The observers for your meetings will be Mrs. Judy Ewing, Mrs. Judy Ewegen,
and Mrs. Carol Hopkins. All of us are looking forward to the
opportunity to share in the activities of the Larimer-Weld Regional
Council of Governments.
