I am writing to confirm receipt of the Town Of Platteville Resolution Number 2012-06,A
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2010 MAJOR STREET PLAN OF THE TOWN OF PLATTEVILLE AS A
RECOGNIZED ELEMENT OF THE TOWN'S 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. Resolution Number 2012-06
contains a signature line to be signed by the Chair of the Weld County Board of Commissioners. I do not
believe that Weld County is obligated to receive and approve Resolution Number 2012-06. Therefore,
the Weld County Board of Commissioners is declining to sign Resolution Number 2012-06, and is
returning the original signed copy along with this letter. Weld County will scan and retain a copy of this
document in the records of the Clerk to the Weld County Board of Commissioners.

RECEIVED
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2010 MAJOR STREET PLAN OF THE TOWN OF
PLATTEVILLE AS A RECOGNIZED ELEMENT OF THE TOWN'S 2010
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, C.R.S. § 31-23-206 et seq. provides the power,authority, and procedure in adopting
Master Plans or elements thereof; and
WHEREAS,the Town adopted a revised Comprehensive Plan in 2010;and
WHEREAS, one component of the 2010 Comprehensive Plan was the incorporation of a Major
Street Plan pursuant to C.R.S. § 31-23-212—213; and
WHEREAS,to promote clarity of the adoption of various elements of the 2010 Comprehensive
Plan,the Planning Commission has determined it in the best interest of the Town to separately
recognize the adoption of the Major Street Plan,previously incorporated in the 2010 Comprehensive
Plan
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF
PLATTEVILLE,COLORADO:
Section I. Pursuant to C.R.S. §§ 31-23-213 and 31-23-208, the Major Street Plan attached
hereto as Exhibit A (as adopted in 2010) is hereby re-adopted by the Planning Commission and
certified to the Town Board of Trustees and Weld County Board of County Commissioners.
Section 2. The Town will file a certified copy of said plan to the Office of the County
Clerk and Recorder pursuant to C.R.S. § 31-23-213.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 28th day of February 2012.
