RE: APPOINTMENT OF JOE GARCIA TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4-4 (b) of the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, the Board of Adjustment shall consist of nine (9)
members, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists in District IV by reason of
the resignation of Laura Archibeque, whose term would have
expired on December 31, 1979, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advi-
sable to appoint Joe Garcia, 1211 11th Street, Greeley, Colorado
80631 to said Board to represent District IV for the unexpired
term of Laura Archibeque, which term will expire on December 31,
1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Joe Garcia be, and hereby
is, appointed to serve on the Board of Adjustment, representing
District IV, for the unexpired term of Laura Archibeque, said
term expiring on December 31, 1979.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of
August, A.D. , 1979.
