Home My WebLink About20122810.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME TO OTERO COUNTY WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from Otero County to buy said equipment for, and in consideration of, the sum of $17,000.00 and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve said proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the bid for purchase of said equipment from Otero County in the amount of $17,000.00, be, and hereby is, approved.
