Proposed use: the property owners would like to continue to park their trucks and trailers on this • property. The property is also used to house the property owner's livestock. 2. Chapter 22 states it wants to preserve and uphold the rights of citizens to own and utilize their property. With the proposed use of parking the owners trucks and trailers, the property is being utilized in a manner that does not adversely affect surrounding properties. Many of the trucks and trailers that are parked on-site are used for agricultural purposes and are no different than those you would find on a farming operation. 3. The existing zoning for this property is Agriculture (A). As stated above the trucks and trailers that would be parked on site or no different from what you would find on many farming operations in the Agriculture zone district. 4. The site is surrounded by agriculture land. The proposed use does not differ from the surrounding agricultural uses. . 5. a. Approximately 5 people will use the site b. 0 employees will be employed on-site c. Usual Hours: 8am—6pm d. In the future, a shop building (barn) and a residence may be planned. e. The number of animals varies, but not to exceed the allowed animal units for the Agricultural Zone District. The animal species onsite include Horses, Goats, Pigs and Llama • f. NE4 being part of Section 30, TAN, R64W is used for storage of trucks and trailers. The Trevino and Son's company is not a run out lot. It is only used for storage. The company is run out of 130 Union Avenue in La Salle. An average of 15 trailer and 10 trucks are currently stored on the property. The plan is to increase to 30 trailers and 25 trucks within the next few years. A shop is also in my future plans. There are no owners or employees on the lot on a daily basis. Throughout the year,the owners of the company go to the lot to get a truck or trailer on average of once a week between the hours of 7 am-6pm seven days a week. The lot is only used for storage of trucks and trailers. When the trucks and trailers are taken off the lot, they are not returned until the job is complete. In the winter months, the equipment is not used.The equipment is only used during spring, summer, and fall. The following is a list of trucks and trailers on the lot currently: • • There are 6 flatbed trucks that are used for hay four times a year for a total of approximately 2 weeks and then returned to the storage lot. • There are 3 onion trucks that are used in the month of August to haul onions.They are used approximately one month and then returned to the storage lot. • There are approximately 3 live bottom trailers used for silage and sugar beets. They are used from September through the end of October and then returned to the storage lot. • There are approximately 6 dump trucks, which are used during the sugar beet harvest. They will be used during the month of October and then returned to the lot.
