Payor is authorized to withhold payment pending resolution of a title dispute or adverse claim asserted regarding the interest in

Amoco bought the lease that expired on 04/29/1975 from Leland prior to the lease being released. At the time the
release was done Amoco actually owned the lease not Leland. That is why they released it and not Leland. That lease is
released and the new one dated 04/29/1975 is now the lease that is in full force and effect.

Hi Kayla,
The original lease that was granted on 4-29-1970 was released. The lease that I sent you was granted in 1974. In other
words a new lease has been issued since the release of lease that you attached in your previous e-mail. I attached a
copy of the old, released lease for your reference. As far as the wells go below, I have put comments in red beside
them. The 40 acre legal description you see on the well is not actually the well spacing unit, it is the well location. If you
take a look at the Application for Permit to Drill (APD) or the Proposed Spacing Unit on the COGCC website located in the
Documents you will see the well spacing unit.

Hope you are having a great Friday! It seems we have opened up a can of worms and I am hoping you can help me with
a few things.
1—We have a lease that contains the following (attached) :
517 T2 R65 NW4
S18 T2 R65 SE4 SE4
534 T2 R65 Small Strip across SE4
Total of 181.56 acres

We show a lease and then we show a Release of Lease,then there is a note that it was held by production—but not all
sections. (This relates to my previous message) As I am going through all of this, I am asking that if you have
documentation to help show this, that would be helpful to our files.
2- I have several older Division Orders and they have been put with this lease, but they do not match up for the
location. After looking on the COGC website, I am not sure they belong with the above lease either.
Could you please check the following Wells and let me know your thoughts?

include SESE of 18. The APD also has this information.

Hudco 40-18 NB-CD-Go to the documents and look at the document titled Proposed Spacing Unit. Well is spaced to
include NW of 17. The APD also has this information. CalaChpa
Hudco 24-18 JSND- I cannot verify the JSND spacing on this well other than the fact that the spacing unit contains 320
per the APD. Logic suggests that the spacing unit covers the E2 of Section 18 which would bring in the SESE of Sec 18.
We are also paying the well on a 320 acre E2 spacing unit.
Hudco 9-18-Go to the documents and look at the document titled Application for Permit to Drill, Deepen, Operate. Well
is spaced to include SESE of 18.JSND-E2, NB-CD-SE.

Muse 1 (There is a resolution to do a commingling between Muse 1 and Muse 2, which Muse 2 falls under the Lease
above). Muse 1 is spaced E2 of Sec 18 for JSND according to APD.
