Gentlemen:
In a meeting held December 18, 1978, the Commissioners considered the drainage
problems at the low point of 24th Street, Highland Hills. It v./41s decided that
the gutter pan and removal of the street crown as specified by the County
Engineer are required to correct the drainage problem.
It is recommended that you accept the Contractor's proposal to do the corrective
work for $2,200.00 in accordance with the Best-Way letter of December 6, 1978,
with the exception that you specify the concrete cross pan to be in accordance
with the County drawing dated November 22, 1978 (enclosed) .
Upon presentation to the County of-a claim with a copy of the paid Contrator's
invoice, the County will make a reimbursement in the amount of $2,200.00 for
the specified corrective work.
