The signs will be in place from July 16, 2012-August 3, 2012. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) recommends posting the speed limit within 5 mph of the 85 percentile speed limit (Section 2B-13). Other factors such as road characteristics, roadside development, accident records, and shoulder conditions may be considered when establishing speed limits. Due to the mill and overlay construction on WCR 49 Public Works recommends reducing the speed limit on WCR 49 from WCR 44 to WCR 50 from 65 to 45 mph. 2012-1734 Page- I -of 1 April 30, 2012 C:\Documents and Settings\dbechler\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\HDO4AU84\BOCC 043012 Temp SL.doc Hello
