RE: INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS ON COUNTY ROAD NO. 21 BETWEEN
STATE HIGHWAY 85 AND COUNTY ROAD NO. 27 AND TWO ADDITIONAL
INTERSECTIONS ON THE PAVED STREET IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF
COUNTY ROAD NO. 21 BETWEEN STATE HIGHWAY 85 AND COUNTY ROAD
NO. 27.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has conducted a traffic count survey on County Road Number 2h
at its intersections between State Highway 85 and County Road
Number 27 and at two additional intersections on the paved street
immediately South of County Road Number 2h between State Highway
85 and County Road No. 27, and has recommended to the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that "Stop" signs
need to be installed at the above-mentioned intersections so as
to stop all traffic entering County Road No. 2h and the paved
street immediately South of County Road No. 21 between State
Highway 85 and County Road No. 27, due to the industrial traffic,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services and
has determined that said signs are necessary for the protection
of the public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "stop" signs on
County Road No. 21 and at two additional intersections On the
paved street immediately South of County Road No. 2h, all of
which are between State Highway 85 and County Road No. 27 ,
as more fully set forth on the map which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein as reference.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
April, A.D. , 1977.

SUBJECT: Stop sign installation
To insure safety of the traveling public I would recommend
installation of the stop signs as indicated on the attached
drawing.
Would you please adopt the necessary resolution for the
installation of these stop signs .
