RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO NOXIOUS WEED
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Noxious Weed Management Advisory
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dennis Drake be appointed to said board to
replace Shane Hall, and that Kristine Meiring be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dennis Drake to said board, with a
term to expire August 19, 2013, and to reappoint Kristine Meiring to said board with a term to
expire August 19, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dennis Drake be, and hereby is, appointed to the Noxious Weed
Management Advisory Board, with a term to expire August 19, 2013, and that Kristine Meiring
be, and hereby is, reappointed to said board, with a term to expire August 19, 2015.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of July, A.D., 2012.
