WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County Commissioners ,
Weld County, Colorado, has been vested with the responsibilty of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , it is apparent to the Board that there is an
urgent need for the installation and integration of an emergency
communication system within Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Board is of the opinion that it would be
in the best interest of the County to have a person knowledgeable
relative to installation and integration of an emergency communi-
cation system within the County, and
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1974, Elmer H. Reynolds was
appointed as the interim director of an emergency communications
system within Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Board is satisfied that Mr. Elmer H. Reynolds
is a person with vast experience and ability in the field of
emergency communication systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mr. Elmer H.
Reynolds be, and he hereby is appointed as Director to do
what is necessary in the fulfillment of any requirements having
to do with the installation and implementation of an emergency
communications system within Weld County; and that he serve at
the pleasure of the Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th
day of March, A. D. , 1975.
