Dear Commissioners,
I am disappointed to find out that Weld County does not have a cat ordinance.Stray and
feral cats pose a serious health risk to both humans and house pets, especially with the recent
outbreak of rabies in our community.Trained Animal Control Officers should be handling stray
animals, not the public.I understand the financial constraints that many municipalities are
facing;but letting cats roam, breed and spread disease doesn't seem like a good solution.I
would like our county ordinance to reflect Weld's commitment to a clean, safe environment for
all of its residents. S-/-r A/ Ca 7L !_`I /.,It? 0c?Ja 0X6'5
