RE: APPOINTMENT OF TAMMY WATERS AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the transfer of Tonya Johnson, formerly known as Tonya Disney, to an
Administrative position within the Department of Planning Services, a need exists to appoint another
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the desire
of the Board to appoint Tammy Waters as Deputy Clerk to the Board and to rescind the appointment
of Tonya Johnson, formerly Tonya Disney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tammy Waters be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective November 6, 2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Tonya Johnson,
formerly Tonya Disney, be, and hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of November, A.D., 2012, nunc pro tunc November 6, 2012.
