RE: ITEMIZED LIST OF LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2013
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays proposed for 2013 as days off for Weld County
employees:
New Year's Day (2013) Monday, December 31, 2012
(replaces Colorado Day - 2012)
Tuesday, January 1, 2013
Washington/Lincoln Day Monday, February 18, 2013
Memorial Day Monday, May 27, 2013
Independence Day Thursday, July 4, 2013
Friday, July 5, 2013
(replaces Colorado Day)
Labor Day Monday, September 2, 2013

Sheriffs Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of
Colorado.
District Attorney -- Friday, November 29, 2013 (replaces King's Birthday); and
Tuesday, December 24, 2013 (replaces Columbus Day)
Friday, July 5, 2013 (replaces Colorado Day)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the list of holidays as set forth above shall be observed during the
calendar year of 2013 as days off for Weld County employees.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of August, A.D., 2012.
