RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #739 - PETER AND
HEATHER VALCONESI
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated June 25, 1986, the Board approved Use by Special
Review Permit #739, for a Greyhound Kennel (200 dogs) for Robert and Marilyn Hamilton on
the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the NE1/4 of Section 14, Township 4 North,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owners, Peter
and Heather Valconesi, 21769 County Road 15, Johnstown, Colorado 80534, to vacate said
Use by Special Review Permit#739, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit #739 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Request for Vacation of USR-739
c/o Peter and Health Valconesi
USR-739 was initially approved by the Board of County Commissioners in June 1986 for a 200
dog Greyhound Kennel for Robert and Marilyn Hamilton. Attached is the Resolution for the
case.
As a Condition of Approval for USR-1668, for a use permitted as a use by right, accessory use in
the Commercial and Industrial Zone Districts (assemble wall components for Laundromats and a
secondary residence) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District the applicant was to request to formally
vacate the current USR located on the property.
The current property owners, Peter and Health Valconessi, are requesting vacation of USR-739
for Robert and Marilyn Hamilton as the greyhound kennel is not present on site
The Valconesi request is attached.
The Department of Planning Services is in support of this request as visual inspection of the
property determined that the property is vacant.

As required as a condition of approval for USR 1668, Peter and Heather Valconesi hereby
request the vacation of USR-739 for a 200 dog kennel.
