RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that David Montgomery be appointed to said
board as the Police Zone 4 representative, to replace Gary Barbour; and that Ken Poncelow
and Ricky Brandt be reappointed as the Police Zone 3 and Police Chief of Cost Sharing IGA
Municipality representatives, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint David Montgomery to said board,
and to reappoint Ken Poncelow and Ricky Brandt to said board, all with terms to expire
December 31, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that David Montgomery be, and hereby is, appointed to the Regional
Communication Advisory Board, and that Ken Poncelow and Ricky Brandt are reappointed to
said board, all with terms to expire December 31, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of January, A.D., 2012.
