RE: DECLARATION OF MOTORGRADER TIRES AS SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County owns the following motorgrader tires
which cannot be used by the motorgraders currently owned by
Weld County:
37 - 1300 x 24 12-ply tube type tires (General)
2 - 1300 x 24 12-ply tube type tires (Goodyear)
15 - 1300 x 24 Recaps
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the abovementioned
tires be declared surplus property, that the advertising require-
ments in this particular matter be waived, and that the Purchasing
Agent for Weld County be authorized to sell said tires.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the 54 motorgrader tires,
abovementioned, currently owned by Weld County be, and hereby are,
declared to be surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the advertising
requirements in this particular matter are hereby waived and
further that the Purchasing Agent for Weld County is hereby
authorized to sell said motorgrader tires.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
October, A.D. , 1979.
