VOTEC Corporation provides election management and voter registration services to counties throughout the U.S. We have been working in this field for over 30 years,and are considered the proven leader in election management solutions. VOTEC Corporation proposes to install and train, in a professionally competent manner,the VoteSafeTM electronic poll book including both the Field System and Management System software. We will appoint a project coordinator to work with Weld County throughout the implementation and acceptance process, always adhering to any contract or State requirements for Elections. Vote-Safe comes with a standard 12 month warranty. Software Maintenance fees are due for Each Year in which VoteSafe is used after the first year: A software maintenance fee will be billed for each year after initial installation, being 20% of the VoteSafeTM Electronic Poll Book Software price quoted above for the number of Field Systems used, plus 20% of the Management Software price quoted above. The software maintenance fee will not be billed for years in which VoteSafeTM is not used. Oracle Fees: The Oracle database licensing is included in the Management Software fees. Oracle is sublicensed according to the terms of the VOTEC/Orade Sublicensing Agreement. County would incur additional Oracle fees if the database sublicensed by VOTEC is used for purposes other than VoteSafe. This proposal is contingent upon the following requirements from Weld County: • Exporting pertinent data (voter, polling place, ballot style, precinct, etc.) out of SCORE and successfully importing the data into VoteSafe. • Exporting pertinent data (including address changes) out of VoteSafe and successfully importing the data back into SCORE. • Near real-time updates between the VoteSafe Management System and the Field Systems must use an acceptable communication protocol and not adversely impact the performance of either system.
