HomeMy WebLinkAbout20120147 RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING AGREEMENT FOR FASTER-TRANSIT GRANT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on December 7, 2011, the Board was presented with an Agreement for the FASTER-Transit Grant between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and the Colorado Department of Transportation, Division of Transit and Rail, commencing August 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2013, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the matter to January 16, 2012, to allow additional time for staff review, and WHEREAS, after review on January 16, 2012, the Board deems it advisable to continue said agreement to February 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., in order to allow staff additional time to determine whether it desires to proceed with the agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement for the FASTER-Transit Grant between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and the Colorado Department of Transportation, Division of Transit and Rail, be, and hereby is, continued to February 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. on l0 b. c- v-\O\\A _ _ a 2012-0147 EG0066 AGREEMENT FOR FASTER-TRANSIT GRANT PAGE 2 The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of January, A.D., 2012, nunc pro tunc August 1, 2011.
