RE: APPROVE EXTENSION OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT#1 TO PURCHASE OF SERVICE
AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-ACS GOVERNMENT SYSTEMS,INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Extension of Contract Amendment#1
and its Schedule A, Scope of Additional Services, to the Purchase of Service Agreement between
the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and ACS Government Systems, Inc., commencing March 31, 2012, and ending June 30,
2012, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said extension, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said extension,a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that an Extension of Contract Amendment #1 and its Schedule A, Scope of
Additional Services, to the Purchase of Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and ACS
Government Systems, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 21st day of March, A.D., 2012.

Re: Extension of Contract Amendment No. 1
Dear Chairman Conway:
I understand that there is a desire on the part of the Weld County Board of County
Commissioners to extend Contract Amendment No. 1 and its Schedule A, Scope of Additional
Services ("Schedule A"), for a period of ninety (90) days beyond the termination date of eighteen
(18) months after October 1, 2010 (March 31, 2012), as allowed under Section X.1. of Schedule
A.
Please be advised that ACS Government Systems, Inc., hereby agrees to extend Schedule A to
and until June 30, 2012. During said time, all of the terms and conditions set forth in said
Schedule A, and in the original Purchase of Services Agreement between the parties, dated
January 1, 2008, shall remain the same during said ninety (90) day period.
