RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER WILLIAM F. GARCIA TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner William F. Garcia has been assigned to Coordinate the
Department of Planning Services, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Garcia be appointed to represent
the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (alternate member)
Pre-Trial Services Advisory Board (regular member)
Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Garcia to said boards,
with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner William F. Garcia be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 4th day of January, A.D., 2012.
