RE: APPOINTMENT OF KARLA FORD AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the transfer of Christie Peters to an Administrative position within the
Department of Human Resources, a need exists to appoint another Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the desire
of the Board to appoint Karla Ford as Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Karla Ford be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board, effective
June 1, 2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Christie Peters be, and
hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of November, A.D., 2012, nunc pro tunc June 1, 2012.
