RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING STATEMENT OF GRANT (SOGA) FOR
JUVENILE ACCOUNTABILITY BLOCK GRANT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Statement of Grant Award (SOGA)for the
Juvenile Accountability Block Grant between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of Justice Services and North Range
Behavioral Health, and the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, commencing October 1, 2012,and
ending September 30, 2013, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said Statement of
Grant Award, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to continue said Statement of Grant
Award to September 24, 2012, to allow time to schedule a work session for further review of the
matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Statement of Grant Award (SOGA)for the Juvenile Accountability Block
Grant between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Justice Services and North Range Behavioral
Health, and the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice be, and hereby is, continued to September24,
2012, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 12th day of September, A.D., 2012.
