RESOLUTION
RE: APPRECIATION OF SERVICES RENDERED BY TIM WEIGAND AS -A
MEMBER OF THE WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado did appoint Tim Weigand as -a member of
the Weld County Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, Tim Weigand has -served continuously on this
Board with distinction, and by his wise council has con-
tributed greatly in public service to the County as a -member
of said Commission.
NOW, THERE-FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby
express its appreciation to Tim Weigand for his faithful
service rendered, having been most beneficial to the Board
of County Commissioners and to the taxpayers of Weld County,
Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by -the following vote on the 31st
day of JANUARY , A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the
record and signed on the 31st day of JANUARC , A.]D. ,19 7 7.

Dear Mr. Heitman:
Although I have enjoyed serving as an associate member and member
of the Weld County Planning Commission for the -past several years, /
I now find that the pressures of today in connection with President
of the Farmers National makes it virtually impossible for me
to have a satisfactory attendance in the -future Weld County Planning
Commission regular hearings and necessary field trips.
The Planning Commission has too great a potential to be burdened
with members -such as myself who cannot haves good attendance record
as I would have, I therefore, regretfully resign so that the
Commission can recommend to the Board of County Commissioners a
person of this district who can make a more consistant contribution.
I sincerely want to thank all the'hflst and present planning commission
members who I have had the privilege to serve with and the past and
present members of the County Commissioners who approved my appointment.
I sincerely think that the efforts of all people concerned in the
development of the Weld County Comprehensive plan has been a benefit
to Weld County and a guiding light to many other counties in Colorado
and the United States.
I do regret having to tender my resignation but I am sure there are
others who will be able to serve and cau$e"-more effectiveness.
