This is not a question. I do not see on your site the ability to comment on the proposed use of the land behind
the Peckham elevator. I believe the county and county commissioners have not acted in the best interest of the
county, nor of the state, nor of the nation. When Fox news has a story about future food shortages due to land
re-zoned from agricultural to other uses, we must question the validity of the county commissioners ' action in
re-zoning and area surrounded on three sides by agriculture, with very little else but agriculture on the fourth
side. Further, the traffic problems that will ensue not only at the nearest intersection, but also due to the railroad
crossing every road between the site and highway 85 has not been well thought out. This smells like
appeasement of a group by a government entity, whether it is or not. This land is far from any contiguous
development of like kind, with the small businesses of Peckham not coming close in scope or land area.
