RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY
REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Juvenile Community Review Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable to reappoint
Kirsta Britton to said board as the Juvenile Services Planning Committee representative, with
Margie Gomez as the alternate, and to reappoint Liska Fraser-Williams to said board as the
Human Services representative, with Jason Nava as the alternate, all with terms to expire
November 1, 2015, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable to appoint
Anthony Perea to said board as the Law Enforcement representative, to replace Jennifer Hill,
and to appoint David Skarka to said board as the Law Enforcement representative alternate, to
replace Sadie Medrano, both with terms to expire November 1, 2015, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Kirsta Britton and Liska Fraser-Williams be, and hereby are,
reappointed; and that Anthony Perea and David Skarko be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Juvenile Community Review Board, all with terms to expire November 1, 2015.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th da,�yiw ember, A.D., 2012.
