HomeMy WebLinkAbout20122882.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR12-0039, FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN PERFORMING AGRICULTURAL, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY OR HORTICULTURAL SERVICES ON A FEE OR CONTRACT BASIS, INCLUDING: GRAIN AND/OR FEED ELEVATORS, GRAIN AND FEED SALES, COMMERCIAL GRAIN STORAGE AND DRYING, SEED PRODUCTION, PROCESSING, STORAGE, MIXING, BLENDING AND SALES AND RETAIL AND WHOLESALE OF PRODUCTS AND SIMILAR GOODS ASSOCIATED WITH THE AGRIBUSINESS AND AGRICULTURAL USES (PROSPECT VALLEY GRAIN, LLC - GRAIN AND SUNFLOWER RECEIVING AND STORAGE FACILITY WITH SCALE HOUSE, OFFICE AND SUPPORT AND STORAGE BUILDINGS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - PROSPECT VALLEY GRAIN, LLC WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 17th day of October, 2012, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of Prospect Valley Grain, LLC, 949 CR 67, Keenesburg, Colorado 80643, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0039, for an Agricultural Service Establishment primarily engaged in performing agricultural, animal husbandry or horticultural services on a fee or contract basis, including: grain and/or feed elevators, grain and feed sales, commercial grain storage and drying, seed production, processing, storage, mixing, blending and sales and retail and wholesale of products and similar goods associated with the agribusiness and agricultural uses (Prospect Valley Grain, LLC - grain and sunflower receiving and storage facility with scale house, office and support and storage buildings) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described real estate, to-wit: SW1/4 of Section 27, Township 1 North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be approved and the matter should be continued to November 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to November 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. (1' ; �� ) APP IClet ≥ 2012-2882 (� -i� PL2184 RE: CONTINUANCE (USR12-0039) - PROSPECT VALLEY GRAIN, LLC PAGE 2 The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th da of October, A.D., 2012. e }' BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS li WELD COUNTY, COLORADO 000 \-if\ .ATTEST: Q"M , 1, .
