They acknowledged the rate increase for the Sheriff's Office contract for 2013 without any hesitation. We have not had Dave Clarke at our last three meetings and he won't be at the next two. We changed the June meeting and thus he was not available and then July-October he is away at training of which I'm sure you are aware. However, without any Sheriff's Office input, the Board concurred that the only reasonable decision was to have the hours remain the same. Our current contract is for 60 direct hours per week with an addendum for an additional 5 hours scheduled per week and assigned primarily to traffic when staffing allows. Please contact me with any addition questions or required information. The Board of Trustees, the citizens and my office look forward to another year of working with the Sheriff Office.
