RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT #328 - ANADARKO E&P
COMPANY, LP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated May 23, 1977, the Board approved Special Use Permit
#328 for a Turkey Farm for Warren Turkey Farms, Inc., on the following described real estate,
to-wit:
E1/2 of Section 23, Township 2 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owner,
Anadarko E&P Company, LP, 1099 18th Street, Denver, Colorado 80202, to vacate said
Special Use Permit #328, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Special Use Permit#328 be, and hereby is, vacated.

Date: September 5, 2012
The Department of Planning Services received correspondence from David Bell with Anadarko
E&P Company LP requesting the vacation of Special Use Permit 328.
Mr. Bell in his letter dated July 2, 2012 states, As current property owner, Anadarko E&P
Company LP requests to vacate the existing Warren Farms Use by Special Review permit
located on the East half of Section 23, Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., as the
use is no longer present on the site.
Given the request by Mr. Bell, the Department of Planning Services requests the support of the
Board of County Commissioners in the granting of and vacation of SUP-328.

RE: APPROVAL OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A TURKEY FARM LOCATED
ON THE EAST HALF OP SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH OF RANGE
66 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, OWNED
BY WARREN TURRET FARMS, INC., C/O DALE SCOTT, 6151 BRIGHTON
BLVD., COMMERCE CITY, COLORADO 80022.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, held a public hearing on the 18th day of May, 1977,
at the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. , for the purpose of hearing the
application of Warren Turkey Farms Inc. for the granting of a
Special Use Permit for a turkey farm on the following described
real estate, to-wit:
The East one-half of Section 23, Township 2 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Weld
County, Colorado, more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said
Section 23; thence S 90°00'00" W on an assumed
bearing along the North line said Section 23 a dis-
tance of 2659.23 feet to the North quarter corner
said Section 23; thence S 00°50'40" W along the West
Line of said East half Section 23 a distance of 5281.79
feet to the South quarter corner said Section 23;
thence S 89°40'00" E along the South line said Section
23 a distance of 2661.65 feet to the Southeast corner
said Section 23; thence N 00°48'59" E along the East
line said Section 23 a distance of 5297.24 feet to
the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, and
WHEREAS, evidence was presented in support of the grant of
the Special Use Permit for a turkey farm on the above described
real estate, and evidence was presented in opposition to the
grant of a Special Use Permit for a turkey farm on the aforemen-
tioned tract of land, and
WHEREAS, Section 3.3.E.4.j. of the Weld County Zoning Res-
olution authorizes such a use in an Agricultural District on the
grant of a Special Use Permit by the Board of County Commissioners,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
heard all the testimony and statements of those present, has

studied the request of the petitioner and the recommendations
of the Weld County Planning Commission and all of the exhibits
and evidence presented in this matter, and having been fully in-
formed and satisfied that the request for a Special Use Permit
for a turkey farm on the hereinabove described real estate,
complies with all of the conditions as set out in Section 3.3.
E.4.j. of the Weld County Zoning Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the application of
Warren Turkey Farms Inc. , c/o Dale Scott, 6151 Brighton Blvd.,
Commerce City, Colorado 80022 for a Special Use Permit for a
turkey farm on the hereinabove described tract of land be and
hereby is granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
May, A.D., 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 23rd day of May, A.D., 1977.
